Description: |
Be transported back in time to 1960s Singapore as you embark on a trip to Pulau Ubin to explore this 1,020-hectare island home to Singapore’s last village or kampongs, as well as the Chek Jawa Wetlands, one of Singapore’s richest ecosystems and the granite quarries, historical sites, alongside coconut rubber plantations and fish farms. In the morning, we kayak into the mangroves to explore this unique ecosystem. (No worries if you have no kayaking experience as this excursion is beginner-friendly.) After lunch, we cycle around Pulau Ubin and visit the Chek Jawa Wetlands, where several different ecosystems can be seen in one small area at low tide.

Additional Info: |
- Both outdoor activities require good physical fitness and endurance level, with exposure to the sun and warm weather.
- Wear water resistant clothing (e.g. sports jersey, shorts, gym attire, bathing suit underneath, etc.) and water-resistant shoes or go barefoot in the kayaks. Flip flops are NOT recommended.
- Prepare a spare set of attire and shoes to change after kayaking as you are likely to get wet and you want to be dry for lunch and cycling afterwards.
- You are strongly recommended to apply sunscreen and insect repellent for this excursion.
