Non-official functions

APAA advises that all functions outside the official program are strictly forbidden during the period of the APAA Conference from 4 to 7 November 2023.  The only exceptions are Private Functions which are held between 18:00 to midnight on Excursion Day, 6 November 2023.  (“the Permitted Period”).  

“Private Function” means any function that does not and/or is not intended primarily to promote or market the business of the persons hosting the function.  For the avoidance of doubt, Private Functions outside the Permitted Period are not allowed.

Event Name Badges

Participants will be issued event name badges which must be worn at all times to access the conference area and/or event venues.

Participants may be issued identification tokens, such as wristbands for specific events, which must be worn to access the event venue.

For the safety and security of our Participants, persons without event identification (name badge and wristband) will be denied entry into the event venues.


APAA is committed to maintaining a conference environment in which people are treated with dignity, decency and respect. As such, APAA does not condone any form of inappropriate behaviour such as harassment, unlawful discrimination or oppression.

APAA will take appropriate action if we receive complaints directed to the APAA President at Complaints will be treated on a strictly confidential basis.



Insurance / Loss / Damage

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that you take up a travel policy of your choice. We do not take any responsibility should any Participant fail to arrange his/her own insurance. This insurance should be purchased in your country of origin.

Please note that APAA and the Conference Secretariat are not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or consequential, arising out of cancellation of, participation in, or registration for this Conference.

Participation in this Conference and all events organised is at the risk of Participants.
